LatestChanged
- Separate FX rates, commodity prices and bond yields:
/v1/fx,/v1/commodities,/v1/yields. The combined/v1/marketsroutes have been removed. - Indicators accept readable names across REST and MCP. The default catalog shows common measures with data; filter by country or use
view=allfor specialist measures. - GDP growth defaults to year-over-year; quarterly growth is explicitly
gdp-growth-qoq. - Forecasts return dates, predicted values and bounds without model internals. Endpoint names and MCP descriptions are shorter.
September 2026
Added
- Initial economics API launch: six endpoints under
/v1:countries,indicators,latest,history,search,updates— plus one MCP tool per operation with the same API keys. - Market prices under
/v1/markets: 263 source-attributed instruments covering EIA physical spot and retail energy prices, World Bank Pink Sheet monthly benchmarks (metals including monthly gold/silver/platinum, plus fertilizers and cotton), ECB euro and Frankfurter US-dollar reference rates against more than 135 currencies, government bond curves for the U.S., U.K., Canada, Japan and the euro area, and six European day-ahead electricity zones. Every instrument carries its exact price type, unit, currency, observation date, and source; spot, reference-rate, and monthly-benchmark histories are never blended. One MCP tool per operation. - Initial economic coverage at launch: G20 + Euro Area, 20 indicators, history back to 1960 (monthly series often to the 1950s), with source attribution on every row.
